Time

10–20 min

Difficulty

Equipment

A sufficiently large sheet or blanket that is not see-through

Participants

How?

How to do it

  1. Divide the participants into two groups and ask them to sit opposite each other so that there is a space between the groups.

  2. Place a sheet between the groups so that they cannot see each other.

  3. From both groups, choose one person to sit in front of the sheet, facing each other.

  4. When everything is ready, those holding the sheet quickly drop it.

  5. Both players try to say the name of the person on the other side as quickly as possible.

  6. The person who says the name more slowly moves over to the other group.

  7. The game continues as long as there is interest or until everyone has had a turn.

Why?

Encourages interaction and strengthens group dynamics. Learning names lowers the threshold for getting to know other group members.
