Forest time

No special equipment, local nature or other peaceful outdoor environment

How to do it
-
Together, choose a place in the local nature where you can spend some time in peace and quiet. It could be a forest, a park, or a bench on a paved area.
-
Allow the young people to experience nature in their own way. Some may want to sit and look at the landscape, others may want to climb trees or just walk around quietly.
-
The time can be used to observe, breathe, rest, or daydream—nothing needs to be “done.”
-
If you want, you can give them an easy question or observation task, like “Look for something that makes you smile.”
-
When the time is up, gather together again and share your thoughts if you wish.
The natural environment encourages movement in a gentle and natural way without any pressure to perform. Nature offers a unique opportunity to recover. It calms the mind and lifts the spirits, which helps young people to relax, manage stress, and feel more secure in their emotions.
