How to do it
Choose together or in advance different types of tag, for example:
– Banana tag: When you are tagged, you raise your arms to form a banana. Another participant can save you by “peeling” the banana – that is, lowering your arms.
– Ketchup tag: The person who is tagged crouches down and is freed when someone “shakes” them like a ketchup bottle.
– Mosquito tag: One participant is the mosquito and tries to “bite” others by touching them. Anyone who is bitten also becomes a mosquito, and the game continues until everyone is a mosquito.
–Disco rhythm tag: The tagger moves to a disco rhythm. Anyone who is tagged joins the dancing group until everyone is included.
– Fish story tag: The tagger catches the participants by telling a crazy fish story. Those who are tagged stand still until someone tells an even crazier story and frees them.
–Hug tag: Participants can get protection by forming a group hug. The tagger decides how big the group should be, and this can be changed during the gam
The game starts as a normal tag game.
When the leader shouts a code word, the tag type changes immediately.
End the game together when the energy has been released and the group is ready to move on.
Helps to release tension, strengthens the feeling of competence, creates a positive atmosphere, and provides opportunities for shared laughter.
