How?

How to do it

  1. Build a “minefield” on the floor or ground, i.e., an area where you place obstacles of various shapes and at different distances.

  2. Choose one participant to cover their eyes with a hat or scarf.

  3. The rest of the group guides them through the field with voice instructions – for example: “one step to the left,” “stop,” “half a step forward.”

  4. If the blindfolded participant touches an obstacle, the round ends and the next person gets a turn.

  5. The game can be varied by moving the obstacles or adding rules, for example, that instructions may only be whispered or given without words (e.g., by clapping).

Why?

Trains presence, listening, and interaction. Gives young people the experience of being able to trust others and be helpful to others themselves.
