How
-
Tell the group that you’re going to ask them “Which would you choose?” questions.
-
Those who choose the first option go to one side of the room (e.g., the right), and those who choose the second option go to the other side (e.g., the left).
-
Ask simple choice questions, such as:
– Which would you choose: ice cream or candy?
– Which would you choose: summer or winter?
– Which would you choose: a trip to the forest or a city tour? -
Continue with new questions at a leisurely pace. Allow time for people to move around and observe the reactions that the choices elicit.
-
Try to end the exercise when the group’s energy is at its highest.
Getting to know each other through light movement and playfulness creates a relaxed atmosphere and makes it easier to participate. Even small movements increase energy levels. Discovering similarities with others strengthens the sense of community and social belonging. The method also supports the ability to express one’s own opinions and strengthens the experience of autonomy.
