MIELI is expanding support for English speakers living in Finland with several new ways to get help during difficult life situations. Our goal is to provide a low threshold for seeking help, ensuring that you can talk confidentially with a crisis worker.

New ways to receive support remotely

We are introducing new formats to ensure you have access to help when you need it. The conversations are free of charge, and no referral is needed.


MIELI Crisis Chat

Remote Appointments

The possibility to book a crisis appointment via video or phone. Browse available slots and book you session here.

MIELI Crisis Email (Coming soon)

A written support format where you can exchange several messages with the same worker.

MIELI Crisis Helpline in English closes

MIELI Cri­sis Helpline in English is open for the last time on Monday, March 23rd, from 4 pm to 8 pm.

Face-to-face support at MIELI Crisis Centres

MIELI Crisis Centres around Finland provide face-to-face support. Appointments can be booked by contacting the centre.
