Main Support from the Public Sources

Major part of the MIELI's operations are financed by Veikkaus, a gaming company owned by the Finnish State with a special mission to fund activities that benefit society at large. Veikkaus's grants are applied for annually.

Ministries, local governments and parishes provide some funds as well. For financing, it also collects membership fees, accepts grants and donations as well as organises fund raising.
