Life can sometimes take unexpected turns, and you might face a situation that is hard to process alone. In these moments, it is normal to feel overwhelmed, and you don’t have to carry the weight by yourself.

Crisis support via phone or video

If you are an English speaker living in Finland, one-to-one crisis support is available via video or phone counselling. Conversations are confidential and typically take place over a few sessions.

An appointment with a crisis counsellor provides a safe space to talk about how things feel right now. This is low-threshold crisis help; no referral is needed.

Book a remote appointment

You can book an appointment with a crisis worker for a remote consultation through our booking system. If you cannot find a time that works for you right now, please check the page again soon, as new appointments are added weekly.

If you wish to have a face-to-face appointment, you can book a session from one of our local MIELI Crisis Centres.

In acute situations, contact the emergency department

Please note: In situations requiring medical care, contact the emergency department of your local hospital. In acute crisis situations, contact the emergency number 112.
